Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made from Derikar LLC through derikar.com.

1. Shipping Area

Derikar currently ships only within the lower 48 United States.

At launch, we do not ship to:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • U.S. territories
  • APO/FPO addresses
  • International addresses
  • Freight forwarders, unless approved in writing
  • P.O. boxes, unless specifically allowed for a small item at checkout

2. Shipping Methods and Rates

Shipping options and rates may vary by product, supplier, warehouse, carrier, destination, product size, product weight, and delivery method.

Derikar may use mixed shipping methods, calculated shipping, flat-rate shipping, promotional shipping, or product-specific shipping rules.

Oversized, heavy, restricted, or freight items may require additional shipping charges or special handling.

Shipping charges shown at checkout are estimates based on available information at the time of purchase.

Derikar reserves the right to contact the customer if a shipping quote is unavailable, incorrect, or requires adjustment due to product size, freight requirements, remote delivery location, carrier restrictions, or supplier limitations.

3. Processing Time

Most orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, subject to product availability, payment verification, fraud review, supplier processing, warehouse cutoffs, carrier pickup schedules, and order volume.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Processing time is separate from transit time.

4. Delivery Estimates

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery time may vary based on:

  • Warehouse location
  • Product availability
  • Carrier delays
  • Weather
  • Freight requirements
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Incorrect addresses
  • Payment verification
  • Supplier processing times
  • Holidays or peak shipping periods

Derikar is not responsible for carrier delays or supplier delays outside our control.

5. Product Availability

Products listed on derikar.com may ship from distributor, supplier, or manufacturer warehouses. Inventory availability can change quickly.

An order confirmation does not guarantee final product availability. If an item becomes unavailable, discontinued, backordered, incorrectly listed, or affected by a pricing or data error, Derikar may contact the customer, offer alternatives, delay fulfillment with customer approval, or cancel and refund the order.

6. Split Shipments

Orders with multiple items may ship separately from different warehouses or carriers. Split shipments may arrive on different days and may have separate tracking numbers.

7. Tracking

When tracking information is available, it will be provided by email or through the order status page.

Tracking may take time to update after a label is created.

8. Freight and Oversized Shipments

Some automotive parts are too large or heavy for standard parcel delivery and may ship by LTL freight or truck freight.

Freight shipments may require:

  • A valid street address
  • Delivery appointment
  • Signature at delivery
  • Business delivery location
  • Liftgate service
  • Customer availability during carrier delivery windows

Freight delivery is generally curbside or dock delivery unless otherwise stated. Freight carriers may not bring items inside a residence, garage, shop, or business.

  • Additional fees may apply for liftgate service, residential delivery, redelivery, storage, missed appointments, refused delivery, address correction, remote delivery areas, or other carrier-imposed charges.
  • 9. Inspecting Freight Deliveries

    Inspect freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt.

    If visible damage is present:

    • Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
    • Take photos of the packaging and item
    • Keep all packaging
    • Contact Derikar within 72 hours at support@derikar.com

    If damage is severe, contact Derikar before refusing delivery when possible.

    Failure to note visible damage at delivery may limit or prevent claim approval.

    10. Damaged Packages

    Report damaged shipments within 72 hours of delivery.

    Do not install, discard, modify, or return damaged merchandise until Derikar provides instructions.

    Keep all packaging, labels, parts, and documentation until the claim is resolved.

    11. Missing or Incorrect Items

    Report missing, shorted, or incorrect items within 5 days of delivery.

    Keep all packaging and shipping labels until the claim is resolved.

    12. Address Accuracy

    Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address.

    Derikar is not responsible for delays, delivery failures, lost shipments, address correction fees, redelivery fees, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

    If an order is returned, delayed, redirected, or charged additional fees due to an address issue, those fees may be deducted from any refund or charged to the customer.

    13. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

    If a shipment is refused, undeliverable, unclaimed, or returned due to customer action or inaction, the customer may be responsible for:

    • Original shipping charges
    • Return shipping charges
    • Carrier fees
    • Supplier fees
    • Restocking fees
    • Storage fees
    • Redelivery fees
    • Address correction fees

    These amounts may be deducted from any refund.

    14. No Guaranteed Delivery Date

    Derikar does not guarantee delivery by a specific date unless expressly stated in writing by Derikar.

    Shipping estimates, carrier estimates, product page estimates, checkout estimates, and tracking estimates are not guarantees.
