Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Derikar LLC through derikar.com.

Automotive parts often involve vehicle-specific fitment, supplier restrictions, freight requirements, manufacturer warranties, and distributor approval. For that reason, all returns must follow the process below.

1. Return Window

Eligible return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

Submitting a return request does not guarantee approval. All returns require prior authorization from Derikar before any item is shipped back.

2. Return Authorization Required

Do not ship any item back without written return authorization from Derikar.

To request a return, email support@derikar.com with:

  • Order number
  • Name used on the order
  • Item(s) you want to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the item and packaging, if requested
  • Vehicle information, if the return relates to fitment

If approved, we will provide return instructions. Items returned without authorization may be refused, delayed, returned to sender, or ineligible for refund.

3. Eligible Return Condition

To be eligible for return, items must be:

  • New
  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • Unmodified
  • Complete with all parts, hardware, instructions, and accessories
  • In original manufacturer packaging
  • In clean, resalable condition

Items must not be damaged, altered, assembled, installed, test-installed beyond reasonable trial-fitment, scratched, painted, modified, wired, cut, programmed, or otherwise changed from new condition.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless required by law or approved by Derikar in writing:

  • Installed items
  • Used items
  • Items damaged by customer handling, storage, installation, misuse, or improper fitment
  • Items missing parts, hardware, instructions, labels, or packaging
  • Custom-made, made-to-order, or made-to-fit products
  • Painted products
  • Mounted wheels
  • Mounted tires
  • Wheel and tire packages after mounting
  • Clearance, closeout, discontinued, final sale, or non-returnable items
  • Electrical or electronic items where return is restricted by the manufacturer or supplier
  • Opened, programmed, wired, modified, or installed electronics
  • Special-order items, unless approved and subject to applicable fees
  • Oversized, restricted, or freight items where return is restricted by supplier, carrier, size, or product
  • type
  • Items not currently returnable through the supplier or distributor

Derikar reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements.

5. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to an error by Derikar, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. This includes standard shipping, upgraded shipping, freight charges, handling charges, address correction fees, delivery appointment fees, refused shipment fees, and other carrier or supplier charges.

Return shipments should be packaged securely. The customer is responsible for damage or loss that occurs during return shipping.

6. Restocking and Handling Fees

Approved returns may be subject to restocking, handling, supplier, freight, restricted-item, or repackaging fees.

Derikar may deduct a restocking or handling fee of up to 25% from the refund amount.

Special-order, restricted, oversized, or freight items may be subject to additional fees, including supplier stocking fees, return freight charges, repackaging charges, missing part charges, or other fees imposed by the supplier, distributor, or carrier.

7. Inspection and Refunds

Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

If the item is accepted, the refund will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable shipping charges, restocking fees, handling fees, supplier fees, missing part charges, repackaging charges, or other applicable deductions.

If the item is refused, denied, damaged, incomplete, used, installed, altered, or not in resalable condition, credit may be denied. In that case, the customer may be responsible for any cost to return the item back to them or for any disposal, repackaging, or supplier-related charges.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may begin processing quickly after being placed.

Cancellation requests must be sent as soon as possible to support@derikar.com. We will attempt to cancel the order if it has not already been processed, submitted to a supplier, staged, packed, shipped, or otherwise committed.

An order is not cancelled until Derikar confirms cancellation in writing.

If the order cannot be cancelled, the customer must follow the return process after delivery. Special-order, freight, restricted, or supplier-processed items may not be cancellable.

9. Damaged Shipments

Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

Damage claims must be reported to Derikar within 72 hours of delivery.

Email support@derikar.com with:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the damaged product
  • Photos of the shipping box or freight packaging
  • Photos of all labels
  • Description of the damage
  • Whether the damage was visible at delivery

Do not install, assemble, discard, modify, or return damaged merchandise until Derikar provides instructions.

For freight shipments, inspect the item before signing the delivery receipt. If visible damage is present, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos. Failure to note visible freight damage at delivery may limit or prevent claim approval.

10. Missing, Incorrect, or Shorted Items

Claims for missing, incorrect, or shorted items must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

Email support@derikar.com with:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the package, labels, and contents
  • Description of what is missing or incorrect

Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.

11. Fitment-Related Returns

Customers are responsible for reviewing product fitment before purchase and before installation.

Vehicle modifications, trim level, drivetrain, suspension changes, wheel/tire changes, production dates, aftermarket parts, and installation conditions can affect fitment.

All parts must be trial-fitted before installation. Installed, modified, damaged, or used parts are generally not returnable.

12. Defective Items and Warranty Claims

Defective items may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, supplier warranty, or distributor warranty process.

Warranty approval, repair, replacement, or denial is controlled by the manufacturer, supplier, or distributor. Some manufacturers or suppliers may require the customer to work directly with them.

Derikar does not guarantee warranty approval and is not responsible for labor, installation, removal, diagnostic time, towing, downtime, storage, alignment, tuning, calibration, vehicle damage, loss of use, or other incidental or consequential costs.

13. Derikar Errors

If Derikar ships the wrong item due to our error, contact us within 5 days of delivery at support@derikar.com.

If the error is confirmed, we will provide instructions for correction, replacement, return, or refund.

14. Final Approval

All returns, refunds, exchanges, replacements, and warranty claims are subject to final approval by Derikar and, where applicable, the manufacturer, supplier, distributor, or carrier.

Derikar reserves the right to deny return requests where the item is not eligible, the claim is untimely, the product is no longer returnable, the supplier denies the return, the carrier denies the claim, or the item does not meet return condition requirements.
